National Association of Friendship Centres

The National Association of Friendship Centres acts as a central unifying body for the Friendship Centre Movement: to promote and advocate the concerns of Aboriginal Peoples: and, represents the needs of local Friendship Centres across the country to the federal government and to the public in general.

United Way

The Movement is made up of 124 volunteer-based United Ways – Centraides (UWs-Cs) located in ten provinces and two territories and a national organization, United Way of Canada - Centraide Canada. Its mission is “to improve lives and build community by engaging individuals and mobilizing collective action."
